How to sign in as a parent or sitter, and what to do if you forget your password.
Sitter has two types of accounts — parent and sitter — and each signs in differently. When you open the login page, pick the tab that matches your role.
Parents can sign in with Google, Apple, or an email and password. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use the same method to sign back in. If you used email and password, enter your email first, then your password on the next step.
Sitters sign in with their phone number. Enter the number you verified with Sitter and you'll receive a 6-digit code by text. Enter the code to sign in. No password needed.
If you've upgraded to a full sitter account with email and password, you can also sign in using the account option on the sitter tab. This gives you the same Google, Apple, or email sign-in options as parents.
If you signed up with email and password and can't remember it, use the password reset option on the sign-in page. You'll receive a reset link by email. Sitters who sign in by phone don't have a password to forget — just request a new code.
Your session stays active so you don't need to sign in every time. If you sign out or your session expires, you'll be asked to sign in again. You can sign out from Settings at any time.
