Family accounts

How multiple family members share one household.

Sitter supports multiple family members on one household account. Both parents, a grandparent, or a nanny can all book sitters from the same shared list.

Adding a family member

Go to Family and invite someone by email. They'll create their own account through our sign-up flow and will automatically be linked to your household. No extra setup needed — they have access to the same sitters, occasions, and booking history right away.

Shared sitters and bookings

All family members see the same sitters list, the same occasions, and the same bookings. If one person books a sitter, the rest of the family can see it. There's no separate sitter list per user — everyone works from the same household roster.

Who gets notified

The person who created the booking receives confirmation and status updates. Other family members can see the booking in the app but don't receive duplicate notifications.

Referral credits

Each family has a unique referral link. Share it with other parents — when they sign up and complete their first booking, both families earn 2 bonus credits. Find your referral link and track referral history in Settings.
