What your sitters see

What happens when a sitter receives the opt-in link and booking texts.

When you add a sitter to your account, they receive a text with a link to the Sitter opt-in page. This is where they decide whether to accept booking requests from your family.

The opt-in page

The page shows your name so they know who added them. It explains that Sitter is a booking coordination tool and asks them to confirm by tapping a button. No app to download, no account to create.

Booking texts

Once opted in, your sitter receives a text each time they're next in line for a booking request. The text includes the date, time, and any notes you added. They tap a link to confirm or decline — no need to compose a reply.

Opting out

Sitters can reply STOP to any text at any time to stop receiving messages. If they opt out, they'll be marked as inactive in your sitters list and won't be contacted for future bookings.
