Overview of the booking flow from creating a request to sitter confirmation.
Sitter is a text-based booking tool for families who already have sitters they know and rely on. You add your people, rank them in the order you want to ask, and Sitter handles the texting when you need coverage.
When you create a booking request, Sitter texts your top-ranked sitter first. If they decline or don't respond within the window, Sitter moves to the next person on your list. This continues until someone confirms or you run out of sitters to ask.
Your sitter gets a simple text with the date, time, and a note if you added one. They reply to confirm or decline. No app download, no account creation — just a text.
You get a notification that your sitter confirmed. The booking is set, and no other sitters on your list are contacted. If you need to cancel later, you can do that from the app and your sitter will be notified by text.
